Four Seasons is known for its collection of world-class spas. Pampering oneself is part of the Four Seasons experience, and Four Seasons Bora Bora does it better than any place we have ever seen. On our wedding day, Four Seasons Bora Bora arranged a spa treatment for us that literally blew our minds. Yes, the foot bath, the scrub, the outdoor shower, the massage, and the facial were phenomenal, but the ambiance and the spa experience itself is what truly set it apart. You can get a good massage almost anywhere in the world, but we have never found a place that offers as well rounded a spa experience as FS Bora Bora.

-The Kahaia Haven spa suite-

The Kahaia Haven Suite is unique for many reasons. We have never before had the opportunity to be massaged while simultaneously watching fish swim through a glass bottom floor. The suite has glass floors just under the massage tables so that guests can feel as if they’re peering into a fish tank while the backside of the body is massaged. Unfortunately, when you flip over, you don’t get to see the fish anymore. At least the message continues to be just as incredible.

The suite has an outdoor bathtub with a view of the lagoon, the ocean, the Bora Bora mountains, and the beautiful overwater bungalows of Four Seasons Bora Bora.

-The treatment-

The 2-hour treatment is a tantalizing 120-minutes of pampering. After you have a chance to take in the beauty of the suite, you’ll take a seat and have your feet cleansed and massaged.

Following the foot massage is a full body scrub that exfoliates the skin and leaves your entire body feeling like a baby’s butt!

Before you’re ready for the best part of the treatment, you and your partner take an outdoor shower together to rinse the scrub off and clean the skin to prepare for the massage.

Once you’re cleaned up and ready to be put into a state of trance, you’ll head back into the suite and begin your 60-minute massage. The massage will blow your mind and the oils used will be some of the best scents your nose has ever had the pleasure to breathe.

The treatment will close with a facial that will leave you glowing. We were fortunate enough to do this treatment just before our wedding ceremony, so we were incredibly happy with how our photographs turned out.
