Staying at Club Med Cancun Yucatán

With the arrival of winter for those of us in Northern hemisphere (and continued presence for those of you on the east coast), this is the perfect time to plan your next escape to the tropics! I know I am. So let me help you plan a trip to Club Med Cancun Yucatan!

Mexico’s proximity to southern California makes it a hot travel destination for many Angelinos.  Not only can you get to most of the resort towns with a simple 4-hour flight, but Mexico is tropical and warm just about year round with crystal clear waters that invite travelers to dive in. What more could you ask for!?  For us southern Californians this is a fast and easy trip that doesn’t require much planning.

Club Med Cancun Yucatan

Since we are on the topic of ease, why not elaborate?  Club Med Cancun Yucatan was our resort of choice for a number of reasons:

  • The beach encompassing the resort is arguably the most gorgeous stretch of beach in Cancun.
  • Club Med’s spas are world renowned
  • Simplicity.  Club Med is all inclusive.  When I say all inclusive, I mean ALL inclusive.  Food, drinks, outdoor activities, etc. This made for an even more relaxing trip knowing that we didn’t have to plan anything OR pay for it on top of the booking costs.

This was my first trip back to Mexico since I was 10 and boy did I forget what an incredible paradise it truly is! White sand beaches, and a lush jungle full of history. I was traveling with my close friend Allie of We were looking for a nice relaxing stay for a little girls getaway, as well as somewhere with beautiful beaches and good food, Club Med Cancun did not disappoint!

On top of the aforementioned benefits, Club Med Cancun Yucatan has three different restaurants as well as a number of buffets located around the resort. So book a trip to Club Med Cancun Yucatan and spend your days relaxing by the ocean with a pina colada in your left hand and a margarita in your right (after all, it’s all inclusive) or perhaps on a stand-up paddle board or jet ski if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous.
